Tata Steel has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The company has reported a rise of 79.29% in its net profit at Rs 7683.39 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4285.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.03% at Rs 32244.19 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 23360.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 9598.16 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4010.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 44.34% at Rs 60842.72 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 42152.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
