FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on September 26, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Monday were net sellers in equities while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1648.20 crore against gross sell of Rs 2838.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1189.80 crore in equities on September 26, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 445.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 383.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 62.00 crore in debt on September 26, 2011.
