HDFC Bank has opened its first branch in Keylong, becoming the first private sector bank to open a branch in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. HDFC Bank's journey in Himachal Pradesh began way back in 2004 when it opened its first branch in the state at Sanjauli in Shimla.

Since then, the bank has been growing its presence across Himachal Pradesh through a combination of bank branches and digital banking initiatives. At present, the bank has 82 branches in 76 cities/towns spread across 11 districts of Himachal Pradesh.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services using multiple distribution channels including a pan-India network of branches, ATMs, phone banking, net banking and mobile banking.
