Cipla reports 10% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Cipla has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 57.94% in its net profit at Rs 652.96 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 413.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.14% at Rs 3,262.92 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 2,693.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 9.92% in its net profit at Rs 370.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 411.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.10% at Rs 5,324.35 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 4,666.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 19.84% in its net profit at Rs 2957.93 crore as compared to Rs 2468.28 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.30% at Rs 13,758.49 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11,532.99 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 6.62% in its net profit at Rs 2,546.65 crore as compared to Rs 2,388.51 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.48% at Rs 22,044.25 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 19,425.58 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
