The company had fixed the issue price at Rs 220 a share for institutional and high net worth individuals (HNI’s) and Rs 210 a share for retail investors. The shares were admitted for trading on the bourses on December 28, 2012.
Bharti Infratel, the telecom tower operator controlled by India’s biggest phone services company, gained momentum on reports of the company’s shares being added to the FTSE Large Cap Index from January 7, 2013 onwards in accordance with FTSE Global Equity Index Series Ground rule. Meanwhile, the stock will also be added to FTSE All-Emerging Index.
