Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has awarded contract to Jindal Drilling and Industries for deployment of Jack-up Rig ‘Jindal Star’ on charter hire for a period of three years at EDR of $42,750.

The above Jack-up Rig ‘Jindal Star’ is currently operating under an existing contract, awarded by ONGC to Jindal Drilling and Industries and would be de-hired in November 2022. After recertification the same is likely to be deployed in the month of March 2023 under the charter hire contract awarded as above.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
