Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 22.90% in its net profit at Rs 4,320.64 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,515.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally by 2.21% at Rs 10,941.93 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 10,705.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 17.87% in its net profit at Rs 4,156.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,526.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally by 2.33% at Rs 11,067.94 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 10,816.33 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 43.21% in its net profit at Rs 17,093.76 crore as compared to Rs 11,935.78 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally by 4.46% at Rs 42,335.87 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 40,527.11 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 39.78% in its net profit at Rs 16,824.07 crore as compared to Rs 12,036.46 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally by 4.59% at Rs 42,697.90 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 40,823.53 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
