NHPC has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 34.67% in its net profit at Rs 560.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 415.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.58% at Rs 2007.48 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1783.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 6.96% in its net profit at Rs 515.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 482.35 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 3.50% at Rs 2026.62 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 2100.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 9.01% in its net profit at Rs 3537.71 crore as compared to Rs 3245.06 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.92% at Rs 9379.98 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9662.56 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 4.85% in its net profit at Rs 3774.33 crore as compared to Rs 3599.88 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 5.21% at Rs 10152.84 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10710.86 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
