JSW Steel has achieved 8% growth in crude steel production in Q3FY13 at 20.94 lakh tonnes as compared to 19.39 lakh tones in the same quarter of previous year. Meanwhile, production of rolled products - flat and rolled long products for the quarter under review grew by 13% and 31% respectively.

JSW Steel is part of the JSW group which, in turn, is a part of the O P Jindal group. JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
