-4.10 (-0.39%) State Bank of India (SBI) has sold 97,500 equity shares of Rs 10 each of HDFC Venture Capital (HVCL) representing 19.50% of its paid-up equity share capital to Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC). Cash consideration is Rs 9.75 lakh. Post divestment, SBI does not hold any stake in the HDFC Venture Capital.
SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
