Mahindra Two-Wheelers, the two wheeler making arm of the Mahindra Group has launched Mahindra Pantero with a competitive price tag of Rs 44,190 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The company, with the launch of Pantero, has made a re-entry in bike market and is hoping high this time around. The Pantero is powered by single-cylinder air-cooled MCi-5 engine (Microchip ignited 5-curve engine), which produces 8.5bhp at 8500rpm and torque of 8.5Nm at 5500rpm.

The Pantero is being offered in 4 colors namely Fiery Red, Blazing Black Cool Black and Sterling Silver. Mahindra is manufacturing the Pantero at its Pithampur plant in Indore. The bike will compete with the likes of Hero Splendor, Suzuki Hayate, and Honda Dream Yuga etc.
