Coal India Ltd.

Coal India’s (CIL) subsidiaries have won the Coal Minister’s Awards for 2021-22 in different categories. Of the awards in five categories, Mahanadi Coal Fields (MCL) bagged the first prize in three categories namely safety, production & productivity and quality. 

While the first prize in sustainability category went to Western Coalfields (WCL), Northern Coalfields (NCL) bagged first prize in implementation of ERP.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
