Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding to establish Inter-State transmission system for ‘System Strengthening Scheme for Eastern and North Eastern Regions’ on build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (LoI) dated August 30, 2022 has been issued to Power Grid Corporation of India. The project comprises upgradation of 132kV substation to 220kV substation, establishment of 220kV DIC Transmission lines and bays extension works in the States of Bihar, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
