Adani Enterprises is all set to enter National Stock Exchange's (NSE) benchmark index Nifty 50 from September 30. The Index Maintenance Sub-Committee - Equity (IMSC) of NSE Indices has decided to make the changes as a part of its periodic review. Adani Enterprises is replacing Shree Cement which is the leading cement-making firm.

Adani Enterprises is an infrastructure company. The company is engaged in coal trading, coal mining, oil and gas exploration, ports, multimodal logistics, power generation and transmission, and gas distribution.
