Sharon Bio-Medicine gets Certification of Substances from European Health Authorities

Sharon Bio-Medicine has received Certification of Substances by European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare (EDQM) for one of its product namely -- Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride -- which is being manufactured at the company’s plant at Taloja near Navi Mumbai.

The certificate has been given after evaluation of the Drug Master File and this certificate is valid for five years and is renewable thereafter. This certificate will allow the company to supply Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride to Europe which should give the company better sales and margins in future.

The company is manufacturing Active Pharma Ingredients (API), intermediate of API’s and formulations. The company is also having its own three R&D Units and one Toxicology Lab. Its three Units are located at MIDC, Taloja near Navi Mumbai and at Dehraddun, Uttarakhand.
