0.30 (0.03%) State Bank of India (SBI), country’s largest public sector lender, in order to facilitate the book-lovers to meet their emergent requirement has installed two automated teller machines (ATMs) and a coin-vending machine temporarily at the Milan Mela ground in Kolkata. The bank has taken this step after it was recognized as official banker of 37th Kolkata Book Fair.
Besides, an extension counter has also been opened at the venue to enable the publishers taking part at the fair to get the access of banking facilities.
The bank is expecting a net profit of up to Rs 15,000 crore in the financial year 2012-13 against Rs 11,700 crore in 2011-12.
