Tata Motors’ global arm JLR to employ over 500 engineers and designers

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is planning to employ over 500 engineers and designers by end of this fiscal, in order to support its new product development programme. After this recruitment, total strength of R&D people will be over 5,500. Automakers’ British subsidiary is likely to assemble more models in India in addition to the existing sports utility vehicle Freelander and luxury sedan XF.

Recently, Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc (JLR) (the Issuer), the parent company of the Jaguar Land Rover group of companies, has fixed the pricing of $500 million Senior Notes due 2023 at a coupon of 5.625% per annum (the Notes).
