In-line with its vision to further strengthen regional connectivity, InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has commenced direct flights from Mumbai to Gwalior from November 15, 2022. This new route is being introduced in response to increasing demand and to improve accessibility.

The enhanced connectivity between Mumbai and Gwalior will help promote tourism as both Gwalior and Mumbai have many tourist attractions. Gwalior has famous attractions such as Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Man Mandir Palace, Suraj Kund, Gopachal Parvat, Padavali and Bateshwar, Tansen Memorial, Sun Temple, and Sarafa Bazaar.

The direct flights will not only promote tourism but also make travel affordable to these destinations through direct connections and additional capacity.
