The company has reported 46.94% rise in its net profit at Rs 311.77 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 212.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 10.53% at Rs 1199.39 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1085.13 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
NHPC is engaged in the planning, development and implementation of an integrated and efficient network of hydroelectric projects in India. It executes all aspects of the development of hydroelectric projects, from concept to commissioning.
