Apollo Hospitals jump on reporting 25% surge in Q3 net profit

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is currently trading at Rs 839.10, up by 17.75 points or 2.16% from its previous closing of Rs 821.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 825.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 848.00 and Rs 823.00 respectively. So far 62,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 902.85 on 27-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 553.00 on 27-Feb-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 833.00 and Rs 794.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 11647.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.35% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.82% and 21.12% respectively.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has reported 24.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 80.64 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 64.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income of the company has increased by 19.13% at Rs 863.83 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 725.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
