Country’s largest power utility company, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has been awarded the ‘Pride of India’ award for its leadership and contribution to the power sector. The state-owned company received the award from Union Minister of Oil and Natural Gas at a function in New Delhi.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
