Axis Bank reports 56% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Axis Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022.

The bank has reported rise of 61.94% in its net profit at Rs 5853.07 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 3614.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 27.44% to Rs 26891.87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 21,101.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported rise of 56.29% in its net profit at Rs 6,209.37 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 3973.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 27.13% to Rs 28,083.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 22,091.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
