Dr Reddys Laboratories reports 3-fold rise in Q3 net profit

Dr Reddys Laboratories has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has posted growth of over 3-fold in its net profit at Rs 346.64 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 108.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 33.97% at Rs 2186.30 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1631.86 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company, on consolidated basis, posted a fall of 29.17% in its net profit at Rs 363.31 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 512.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.69% at Rs 2888.47 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2785.67 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
