Hindalco Industries reports 63% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Hindalco Industries has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022 (Q3FY23).

The company has reported a fall of 64.12% in its net profit at Rs 498 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1388 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased 5.07% at Rs 19120 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 18198 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 62.94% in its net profit at Rs 1362 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3675 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased 6.07% at Rs 53517 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 50453 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
