Nestle India reports 21% rise in Q4 net profit

Nestle India has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has reported 20.84% rise in its net profit at Rs 278.93 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 230.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 10.19% at Rs 2173.76 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1972.75 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

For the year ended December 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 11.06% in its net profit at Rs 1067.93 crore as compared to Rs 961.55 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income from operation has increased by 10.92% at Rs 8365.56 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7541.71 crore for the period ended December 31, 2011.
