Coal India’s subsidiary - Northern Coalfields (NCL) has featured in the list of 50 Most Caring Companies of India in the World CSR Congress 2013. The event was held in Mumbai on February 18, 2013 where the company received the award.

The award was conferred on NCL for its good corporate citizenship and the company’s endeavor to promote partnership between the business and social welfare sectors.
