Mphasis reports marginal rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

The company, on standalone basis, has registered marginal growth of 1.23% in its net profit for Q1FY13 at Rs 149.42 crore as compared to Rs 147.61 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. However, the total income of the company has decreased by 5.66% to Rs 848.91 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 899.85 crore in the same quarter last year.
On the consolidated basis, the group has posted marginal rise of 0.23% in its net profit at Rs 184.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 184.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income has decreased by 7.43% at Rs 1300.40 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1404.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
