InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has commenced direct flights from Nashik, the 77th domestic and 103rd overall destination in the 6E network. The airline operated the first direct flights between Nashik-Goa, Nashik-Ahmedabad, and Nashik-Nagpur. Nashik is the 7th destination on the 6E network in Maharashtra and will increase intra-state and inter-state accessibility, while promoting trade, tourism, and mobility through these new connections.

Nashik, an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, is well-known for its connection to the Ramayana.
