Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has on March 21, 2023 acquired ‘KPS2 Transmission’ (KPS2TL), the Project SPV to establish Establishment of Khavda Pooling Station-2 (KPS2) in Khavda RE Park, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - REC Power Development and Consultancy. The entity was acquired with a net payment of about Rs 11.17 crore.

The Transmission system comprises of establishment of a new 765/400kV GIS in the State of Gujarat. The transmission system is an Inter State Transmission System Project and is to be completed in 21 months.
