Maruti Suzuki’s total production for the month of February 2013 has declined by 2.52% to 120,266 units from 123,370 units in same month last year. The production of Mini cars like Alto, A-Star and Wagon-R has decreased by 10.50% to 57,020 units from 63,707 in February 2012.

The Compact cars’ production slipped by 6.56% to 27,206 units however, the production of Super Compact class cars rose by 20.82% to 20,400 units.

Further, the production of Utility vehicles zoomed to fourteen times from 474 units to 6,636 units. The utility vehicles include Gypsy, Ertiga, Grand and Vitara while, the production of vans like Eco and Omni dropped by 31.73% to 9,004 units from 13,188 units.
