Maruti Suzuki India's production fell 5.66% to 154,148 units in March 2023. The company had a total production of 163,392 units in the same month a year ago. Production in mini cars and compact segment, comprising models such as Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR, OEM Model fell to 108,001 units in March 2023 as compared to 109,676 units in March 2022.

Production of utility vehicles, including Brezza, Ertiga, Jimny, S-Cross and XL6, OEM Model was also lower at 29,440 units as compared to 36,249 units in the year-ago month. Light commercial vehicle Super Carry's production fell to 3,328 units in March 2023 as against 4,181 units in March 2022.
