Date: 05-03-2013Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has unveiled new version of its light commercial vehicle Maxximo. The company has invested Rs 10 crore for the development of the said product and the new model, Maxximo Plus, is priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) and above.
At present, the production capacity of Maxximo platform is 8,000 units a month and this can be increased if there is a demand for the new model.
Recently, the company registered 11% growth in its auto sales numbers which stood at 47824 units during February 2013 as against 43087 units during February 2012.
