Hindustan Zinc has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

Hindustan Zinc has reported fall of 11.61% in its net profit at Rs 2589 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2929 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.30% at Rs 8865 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 9074 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 11.78% in its net profit at Rs 2583 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs  2928 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.33% at Rs 8863 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 9074 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported rise of 9.24% in its net profit at Rs 10520 crore as compared to Rs 9630 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.74% at Rs 35480 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 30656 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 9.16% rise in its net profit at Rs 10511 crore as compared to Rs 9629 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.73% at Rs 35477 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 30656 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
