Hindustan Unilever informs about outcome of board meeting

Hindustan Unilever has informed that the Board of Directors in their meeting held today have: approved the annual accounts for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023: The Company’s turnover for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023 was Rs 58,154 crores as against turnover of Rs 50,336 crores for the financial year ended 31st March, 2022, The Profit before tax was Rs 13,079 crores as against Rs 11,739 crores for the corresponding year. Depreciation / amortization for the year was Rs 1,030 crores as against Rs 1,025 crores in the corresponding year. Exceptional Items for the period amounted to a loss of Rs 62 crores as against loss of Rs 34 crores in the corresponding year; Provision for taxation (including deferred tax) is Rs 3,118 crores (Last Year: Rs. 2,921 Crores). Profit after Tax and Net Profit increased to Rs 9,962 crores (Last Year -Rs 8,818 Crores).
