Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.

PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL), India’s largest power transmission utility, has received an investment approved for Transmission System associated with Meja TPS' at an estimated cost of Rs 55.73 crore with commissioning schedule of 28 months from the date of investment approval. The board at its meeting held on March 08, 2013 has approved the same.

Power Grid is engaged in bulk power transmission and its responsibility include planning, coordination, supervision and control over inter-State transmission system and operation of National and Regional Power Grids.
