1.80 (0.53%) Tata Motors’ UK subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has reported growth of 3% in global sales at 26,855 units in February 2013 from the same month last year. February sales were up in almost every major market; 20% each in Asia Pacific and North America, 15% in the UK, and 6% in Europe.
However, in China, sales were down by 22% reflecting the Chinese New Year falling in February this year and January last year.
During the month, Jaguar has sold 4,595 units, up 27% with increased sales of the XF and XJ; however Land Rover has sold 22,260 units in February, down slightly as compared to the same month last year.
