Date: 13-03-2013National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has declared that the Unit I of 500 MW of Mauda Super Thermal Power Station, Stage-I is ready for commercial operations with effect from March 13, 2013.With this the total commercial capacity of NTPC has become 34810 MW.
NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
