Date: 14-03-2013UltraTech Cement has resumed operations at its Unit viz. Awarpur Cement Works, Awarpur, Maharashtra having a capacity of 3.6 mtpa from March 14.
Earlier on March 1, the company’s operation at Awarpur Cement Works had been temporarily shut down on account of stoppage of work by the workers.
The company’s production for February, 2013 stood at 3.32 million tons (MT). Further, cement dispatches stood at 3.31 MT in February, 2013.
