Sun Pharmaceutical Industries reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported net loss at Rs 1020.82 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 1286.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 40.89% at Rs 6068.52 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 4307.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit at Rs 1984.47 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to net loss of Rs 2277.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 18.24% at Rs 11303.95 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 9560.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported net profit at Rs 1690.72 crore as compared to net loss Rs 99.99 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 27.49% at Rs 21091.17 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 16543.90 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported above 2- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 8473.58 crore as compared to Rs 3272.73 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.49% at Rs 44520.20 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 39576.00 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
