NTPC has informed that, consequent upon successful commissioning, second part capacity of 10 MW of 20 MW Gandhar Solar PV Project at Gandhar, Gujarat, is declared on Commercial Operation with effect from 00:00 Hrs. of 07.06.2023. The first part capacity of 10 MW has already been declared on commercial operation with effect from 00:00 Hrs. of 23.08.2022. With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 56378 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 72364 MW.
