The company already offers 4G services in Kolkata, Bangalore and Pune. It is now readying to launch the services in the remaining licence areas.
4G mobile Internet technology provides download speeds of around 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) on the move and it can go up to 1 Gigabits per second (Gbps) at a fixed location.
The company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa added 2.43 million users in February, 2013, increasing its total customer base to 186.62 million with a market share of 28.47%.
