ONGC has struck three significant discoveries namely Vanaduru South (west Godavari PML Block in KG Onland Basin), KG-OSN-04-NASA (NELP Block KG-OSN-2004/1 in KG shallow offshore basin) and AD 37 (ADAO) in Agartala Dome Extension-II PML, in Tripura state.

Meanwhile, the company’s board has decided to invest over Rs 4,050 crore to revamp some western offshore facilities.

Earlier in February, ONGC, state-owned exploration and production major, had banned one of its largest onshore drilling contractors Shiv-Vani Oil and Gas Exploration Services for two years.
