-288.00 (-1.83%) Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), the country’s largest carmaker has inked pact with the Technical Education Department, Punjab and adopted five industrial training institutes (ITI) in the state for the up gradation of technical education institutes. The automaker has signed a memorandum of understanding, for adopting five ITIs of Amritsar, Bassi Pathana, Pathankot, Malerkotla and Nabha.
The entity has adopted these ITIs in private public participation (PPP) mode with an aim to train and create a pool of employable youth for the automobile and allied industries. Through this initiative, around 2,000 youngsters in the Punjab region are expected to directly benefit.
