Tata Motors trades in green on the BSE

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 276.35, up by 5.75 points or 2.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 270.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 271.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 277.00 and Rs. 266.50 respectively. So far 486142 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 337.05 on 10-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 202.95 on 26-Jul-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 289.90 and Rs. 265.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74914.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.72% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.51% and 8.10% respectively.

Tata Motors, country’s largest automobile company is planning to undertake a 11-day shutdown, in order to carry out maintenance of equipments at its Jamshedpur plant from March 27 to April 6. The company took this decision as it is not possible to carry out maintenance of equipments, in the paint house during the day to day operations.
