National Thermal Power Corporation’s (NTPC) Unit-Il of 500 MW of Mouda Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-I has been commissioned on March 29, 2013 at 18:23 hrs. Pursuant to this, the total installed capacity of Mouda Super Thermal Power Project has become 1000 MW and the total installed capacity of NTPC group has become 41174 MW.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
