India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki has launched a new version of SX4 to strengthen its presence in the mid-size sedan segment. The new SX4 which comes with a fresh look exterior and interior delivers improved fuel efficiency (16.51kmpl in petrol) and enhanced performance.

The new SX4 comes with many features including an all new touch-screen audio with integrated navigation with Bluetooth. The petrol variants of the car are priced between Rs 7.38 lakh and Rs 8.84 lakh while the diesel versions are priced between Rs 8.27 lakh and Rs 9.79 lakh.

The company’s total production for the month of February 2013 had declined by 2.52% to 120,266 units from 123,370 units in same month last year. The production of Mini cars like Alto, A-Star and Wagon-R had decreased by 10.50% to 57,020 units from 63,707 in February 2012.
