NHPC’s Unit 2 & Unit 3 of Teesta Low Dam - III HE Project have been declared under commercial operation with effect from April 01, 2013. This is pursuant to successful trial run and demonstration of peaking capability corresponding to installed capacity of 33 MW each.

NHPC is engaged in the planning, development and implementation of an integrated and efficient network of hydroelectric projects in India. It executes all aspects of the development of hydroelectric projects, from concept to commissioning.
