Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the $15.4 billion Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry during FY2012-13. Domestic sales during the year stood at 211,596 units as against 221,730 units during FY 2011-12. Total tractor sales (domestic + export) of the company during FY13 stood at 223,885 units as against 235,452 units for the same period last year.

Domestic sales in March 2013 stood at 15,551 units as against 15,920 units during March 2012. Total tractor sales (domestic + export) in March 2013 stood at 17,330 units as against 17,405 units for the same period last year. Export for the month registered an impressive growth of 20% at 1,779 units.
