Power Grid Corporation of India reports 5% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). 

The company has reported 5.93% fall in its net profit at Rs 3,542.65 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,765.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 0.59% at Rs 11,082.20 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 11,016.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 5.37% fall in net profit at Rs 3,597.16 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 3801.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 0.80% at Rs 11,257.60 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 11,168.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
