National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has reported record sales of over Rs 7,200 crore and foreign exchange earnings of Rs 3,400 crore for 2012-13 fiscal. The company earlier in 2011-12 had recorded net sales of Rs 6,500 crore and an export turnover of Rs 2,569 crore. The company has achieved the highest-ever production of bauxite at 54.19 lakh tonnes (LT) against the previous best of 50.03 LT achieved in previous fiscal.
